About Us

Our Studio Experience

Our studio is more than just a workspace for our designers. It also serves as our design center where we help customers select window treatments, wallpapers, and other finishes and furnishings for their spaces. You do not have to be a full service design client to shop our design center. Our storefront is open to the public and walk-in customers during normal business hours.

Our Studio

This 1925 building has won the hearts of many in our sea-side town of Stuart, Florida.  Acquiring this building was not only a commitment to our success as a local small business, but a total and heartfelt commitment to our community.

From the moment of acquisition, we have dedicated countless hours, blood, sweat and tears restoring and enhancing the building's natural beauty while still preserving its bones and historic significance.  During construction, we made several unexpected surprises that kept us on our design toes and gave us a few good laughs along the way, including the antiquated, 91 year old plumbing we later replaced. Under the original flooring we found old, dated books, newspapers, soda bottles, and even baby clothing!

We can't express what an honor it is to be a part of this community and operate our small business from this historic landmark. We are so proud of our design studio and would be delighted to give you a tour.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Interior Design Process

RESEARCH

Once we have met with you in your space, we'll craft a design scope to deliver with your contract and design fee proposal. Once these are signed and paid, we can schedule your kick-off meeting and start gathering samples for pre-selections.

DESIGN

Our team will prepare a preliminary design concept to review at our kick off meeting. With more direction from you, we will move forward with your customized design. We'll be taking this time to work with trades, order memos, and build your final presentation along with proposal for Furniture, Fixtures & Equiptment.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
& PROCUREMENT

Once the Final design is approved, you'll be presented with product proposals for procurement. Once you've approved and paid for these goods, we will start ordering and scheduling subs for installation and delivery. This process maybe done in phases depending on the size of your project. The design team will manage subs to ensure we stay on schedule.

INSTALL & STYLING

As work completes, and all of your products arrive and pass quality checks, we will schedule your installation and styling. Please note, renovations, wallpaper, paint, rugs and window treatments may go in prior to installation and styling. The design team will coordinate your design project to ensure we execute your design flawlessly.

Charity Involvement

Social Responsibility

As purveyors of luxurious services, we take pride in our commitment to give back to our cherished community in a beautiful and meaningful way. While the highlighted charities are especially dear to our hearts, we take every opportunity to to support our local area. By donating goods and dedicating volunteer time to nearby charities, we honor our firm’s deep-seated commitment to aiding those in need. When or double shipped, we negotiate with our vendors to donate these treasures to benefit local nonprofits, rather than returning them. As opportunities arise, our devoted team wholeheartedly volunteers at various events, embodying our spirit of generosity and community support.

Poinsettia Power

More than 500 Meals on Wheels are delivered to needy, homebound seniors in Martin County each weekday. The funds raised by the Poinsettia Power Event, courtesy of the Kane Center: Council on Aging, help ensure that the seniors on the waiting list for government-funded meals do not have to wait hungry and alone.
FMI participates every year in donating funds, donating items for the silent auction, selling tickets, as well as event volunteering. Francesca Morgan is a committee member of this organization near to her heart.

Molly's House

Going through a major medical treatment or family members needing to travel for support of the patient can add extra stress and expense when considering where to stay. Molly's house offers a comfortable and affordable accommodation to those needing temporary services. FMI has volunteered meals, donated furniture, and gifted funds to support this organizations blessing for those going through a stressful time.
